Poreč, one of the most beautiful Croatian and Istrian resorts, is a town of rich cultural and historical heritage and a seductive charm, all embraced by the untouched nature and crystal clear Adriatic sea. It is easy to reach Poreč either by a brand new Croatian motorway network, or by a plane. Two international airports are located at a distance of less than an hour of pleasant drive – Airport in Trieste and Pula airport. Poreč is at just 2.5 hours of a pleasant drive from Zagreb or Ljubljana, and seven(ish) hours of comfortable drive will get you there from, for example, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade or Milan.

During the three days the conference, organizers have prepared an extremely comprehensive program. Six prominent plenary speakers from six countries on three continents have confirmed their participation. We look forward to two workshops in the organization of which are actively involved representatives of the chemical industry (dedicated primarily to young researchers and students): “How to succeed in science?” and “I can do this – science and the market.” During three days, the work of the Conference will be organized through three parallel sessions, each of which will have two invited lectures (lasting 30 minutes) and three presentations of 20 minutes, which the Programme Committee will choose from submitted abstracts. And, last but not the least – the poster session. Social program, which includes the opening ceremony and gala dinner, will be enriched with a “student mixer”, entertainment for young researchers with the DJ performance.

Welcome to 25HSKIKI with international participation, Croatian chemical congress of the new generation.
